Stamford University Bangladesh: Is a private university in Bangladesh. It was established in 1994 by the Private University Act. Beforehand it was known as a Stamford college collection,^[3] later it was upgraded as private university of Bangladesh in 2002 and appeared as Stamford University Bangladesh. The university belong to Stamford University & College collection. It is also having the highest number of students (around 18000) amongst all the private varsities in Bangladesh. At here, This group has 160 campuses in Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia and America. Stamford University is the first and only ISO specialized university in Bangladesh.^[4]

Credit transfer

Stamford university provide credit transfer ability for its students to different supposed foreign universities. The university has by now transferred more than 100 students of BBA, MBA, CSE and CSI programs to different universities of the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia. It has agreed joint degree programs and credit transfer programs with Claflin University, State University of New York and Monash University, Australia.
